Geneva High School bus carrying volleyball team involved in Gates Mills crash

GATES MILLS, Ohio (WOIO) - A Geneva City School bus was involved in a three car accident on Mayfield Road Tuesday afternoon, according to Gates Mills police.
No injuries were reported in the accident.
Geneva Superintendent Dr. Terri Hrina-Treharn confirmed the bus was taking the high school’s volleyball team to Hawken.
“We are aware of this unfortunate situation and most importantly are happy to report that all students, coaches, our driver, and others involved are safe. We will investigate the situation to determine the cause of the accident. When more information is available after an official investigation is done, we will release it at that time,” Dr. Terri Hrina-Treharn stated.
According to the Chagrin Valley Dispatch Facebook page, parts of Mayfield Road were closed at the time of the crash.
The cause of the accident has not yet been released by police.
