Browns dominate Titans 27-3

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The (1-1) Cleveland Browns host the (1-1) Tennessee Titans at Browns Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Fourth Quarter:

Alex Right with the sack on Ryan Tannehill. The very next play, Myles Garrett records his third sack on the day on Tannehill.

Deshaun Watson finds Amari Cooper for the 43-yard touchdown pass.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson enters the game for mop up duty.

Third Quarter:

Deshaun Watson with the hand off to Jerome Ford for a three yard touchdown run. This was Ford’s second touchdown of the day. Browns lead 20-3.

Titans go three and out the very next drive. Browns defense continues to stuff the Titans.

On the browns next drive, Deshaun Watson is sacked by Roger McCreary with a loss of 8. Nothing would come of this drive and Cleveland would punt.

Second Quarter:

Titans take advantage of the turnover and tie the game up with a 44-yard field goal to start off the second quarter.

After a messy nine play drive for Deshaun Watson, he capped it off with a short pass to Jerome Ford for 19 yards and a touchdown. Browns lead 10-3.

Browns’ defense continues to have a great half, Tannehill sacked at Cleveland’s 48 for a loss of 8 yards. The sack was split by Ogbonnia Okoronkwo and Myles Garrett.

In the Browns final drive before the break, Watson connected with Amari Cooper who had a clear path to the end zone. The official ruled that Cooper stepped out of bounds and blew the play dead. The replay showed that Cooper remained in-bounds on the play, and the missed call cost the Browns a touchdown. Dustin Hopkins finished the drive with a 52-yard field goal to extend the Browns lead 13-3.

Cleveland’s defense once again stands tall just before the half. 3rd & 10, Tannehill sacked by Myles Garrett for a loss of 10 yards.

Cleveland leads 13-3 at the half.

First Quarter:

Dustin Hopkins hits a 48-yard field goal to give the Browns a 3-0 lead after their first possession.

Browns’ defense would force two-straight three and outs to start the game.

Elijah Moore would fumble on Cleveland’s 28 and it’s recovered by Tennessee.

2nd & 13 Ryan Tannehill sacked by Myless Garrett, Tannehill fumbles the ball and it’s recovered by Tennessee at Cleveland’s 24.

CB Greg Newsome II was ruled inactive for Sunday’s game with an elbow injury.

Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is active for the game. Hopkins missed practice on Friday with an ankle injury he suffered in the Titans’ week 1 loss to the New Orleans Saints.
