Akron police to wear pink patches for breast cancer awareness, fundraiser

AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - Akron police are wearing pink patches this Oct. to raise awareness and money for local breast cancer research and support services.
They are selling pink patches and pins for the fundraiser.
The patches and pens can be purchases for $10 through the department’s PayPal account, AkronPDPinkPatch@akronohio.gov
The department asks that you specify which item you desire.
